Ahh, a game where Philadelphia scores a run. After losing 3 straight games to the New York Mets, and not being able to score a run in those games, the Phillies pulled out a 3-2 win over another team from the division, the Marlins. Kyle Kendrick went a solid six. Then the Phils strong pen finished the game out.

Phillies accused of cheating
Posted by Brandon at 5:52 PM 0 commentsThe MLB has warned the Phillies for using a set of binoculars and peeking at the Rockies signs. The MLB said it was a presentation of poor sportsmanship and they don't want to see it again. Seriously I don't think the bullpen coach was looking at there signs. He probably didn't have a good view of the game so took out some binoculars to zoom in. Also if you were to look at signs wouldn't you have a member from the dugout look, which is closer and would be harder to spot?

Phillies Destroy Mets
Posted by Brandon at 7:24 PM 0 commentsA day after being nearly shutout, Doc Halladay and the crew took the Mets down. In their 10-0 win Doc pitched his second shutout of the season. Halladay is the leader in complete games over the last five seasons. You know what is just as impressive is the Phillies were able to put up 6 runs against what was the hottest pitcher in the league. Mike Pelfrey had a 0.69 ERA coming into Saturday. Now it's at 2.40.
